KM links are Kate Mepham .Guessing the link up words from Saturdays Telegraph GK and matching them to the link words in Mondays Telegraph Herculis crosswords .

Whoever gets the highest score over the month gets to set the MM Links ) Michael Mepham ( in honour of Kates late father who used to set the Saturday GK )

Eek! Sounds to complex for this bear of very little brain.
Thanks for answering :)
I think the answer you was given was rather complex. Hopefuly another abler will
explain in easier terms. You are given three words and you have to make a common
two word phrases. Hopefuly someone will come on and give you an example.
It's really very straightforward, Mojo jojo.
Anyone can play.

KM links refers to the link words in the Telegraph Saturday General Knowledge Crossword. 4 of the solutions link with 4 solutions in Monday's Telegraph Herculis Crossword. The KM links game is a competition to guess what the Monday words will be. seekeerz posts the words fromthe Saturday crossowrd early on Saturday morning, then folk guess what they will be linked to. seekeerz keeps score and the winner is announced every month.
MM links is a separate game where one of the players writes a little story, then posts 4 words. the game is to come up with linking words, just like the KM links, probably looking for clues in the story. The answers come out on Sunday night, crofter keeps score and the winning person for this month sets next month's link words.
It's just a bit of fun.

Your second answer made much more sense of it Cupid, thank you.
I might watch for a week or two and see how it pans out.
Thanks Lady, that makes sense too. :)
No cupid you are given four words .Both crosswords have four clues with shaded squares .
For example this weeks are spear ,pass.flush and single You need to guess the four matching words which will be the answers to the shaded clues in Mondays Herculis .
If you guess correctly you get points .The one with the most points goes on to set the MM links of four words and the punters guess the linking words .
Can't get much simpler than that .

Oh! NOW I get it. Thanks all :)
Sorry,if Ive got it wrong yet again, it was not my intention to mislead anyone. I'm
probably getting it mixed up with another quiz.

I found your answer helpful Cupid. Thank you :)
KM links are to do with the Saturday and Monday Telegraph.
MM links are chosen by an Aber.
You just pick a word that links
ie FISH could be flying fish, fish market, monk fish.
Hope this explains it .
Sorry not a good explanation, tried to make it a bit less complicated :(
Please join us, it is good fun.
