Afternoon All,

The search has had a minor tweek, so you should be able to find relevant and fresh results.

We're not done upgrading it just yet, so don't worry if it isn't perfect.

We just wanted to let you know that a start has been made.

Thats good to know Spare Ed, each time I have searched for something if it wasnt from the same day I have never been able to find what I have been looking for. Maybe just me, we will wait and see x

That's interesting Spare Ed. I have used the Search recently and was surprised that it was more efficient than when I had tried many moons ago. One thing surprised me tho' ~ You have to be very careful not to do a typo! Even one letter wrong brings up no answer at all. Correct the letter and it comes up with the goodies! :0)

Agree with Dustybun ... I've successfully used the search facility several times in recent weeks, and it's been a massive improvement on how things used to be.

I concur with Dustybun and sarumite. I hadn't realised there was a problem with the search facility anymore, certainly not when compared to pre-refresh. I hope this minor tweek doesn't cause any major problems.

I hope it's been TWEAKED so that it no longer says there are no results for puzzle whenyou know there have been several (but don't fancy wading through a week's worth of questions and answers).

Hi Bogtrotter ~ that's what I meant above. When I got no results I checked what I had typed for typos. Even the smallest, silliest typo or misspelt word when corrected produced the required results.

Hi guys,

No, we don't currently offer auto-correct, or suggest options to you. We would like to in the future to try and make it a lot easier!

For now though - at least the results are in the right order!
