6 The river Eamont flows from Ullswater
14 Harry Guard's wood is in Little Langdale. There is Yew Tree Tarn virtually in the wood and Tom Gill runs into the tarn (I think)

Ghyll is sometimes spelt as shown, if this helps
Just thought - no.23 There is Haweswater near Penrith (horse water? cryptic?)
I bet if you ask this one in the morning, granny, waterboatman will know the answers!
