dt 25819

Stuck on 3 today.

26a Alert doughboy gets stuck into the drink (5) A?I?E
I'm thinking 'alive' for alert but can't work the clue other than ale for drink but where does the 'iv' come from

17d I get rebuked about note being repeated (8) ?T?R?T??
I'm looking at 'iterated' but it's only a guess really

29a Ran furiously, yet got beaten (6) ?E?T??
'pelted' looks OK but not fabulous

The last letter of 17d and 29a is in the same square.

26a. "doughboy" is a slang term for an American infantryman, i.e. GI
17d. I get "rated" (rebuked) around TE (musical note).
