I am having trouble in reconciling the answers previously given to 50d, in that whilst CODEX & CODEC appear in various dictionaries, none of them define either word as an "Official List of Medicines" Does anyone have any other suggestions, or a source of verification of either CODEC or CODEX.

To date I am stumped !!

Any letters to help us help you? Is it a crossword or what? I suggested Mims Directory which contains prescription medicines and is used by GPs.

codex "plural codices" can be checked in The Oxford Dictionary of Difficult Words just by googling "official list of medicines" Doh! What a waste of time asking here.
