I've got an answer for this (the PF's ship) but I can't fit the clue to that answer. Can someone explain it to me?

I'm not sure that's right as the Speedwell fits the question better. It returned to Plymouth because of leaks whereas the Mayflower completed its voyage.

Thanks jenniferd. I go with your answer particularly as it was so helpful. Integrity is a good word. Thanks. I saw somewhere that someone had discovered 83 answers to this quiz. in the Answerbank. From his posting it seemed that he did not need any help-clever guy-so why bother to look them all up. At least he satisfied himself that all his answers were right !!!

Thanks for your help and advice,jenniferd and Magic1. It makes me sad when people complain about us asking for help on AB, surely that is the purpose of the site and anyone who doesn't approve should never log on. I think they have to look at this site because they need help as well but are too arrogant to admit it.

For dispatch you have SPEED and before spring is a WELL and Speedwell was the ship that had to turn back.
