Saga - February

I's sure that 8dn (turned up for a particular flight) cannot be anything but spiral but can anyone explain the logic? Apart from a spiral staircase being a flight of stairs of course, I cannot see any other connection. It's been nagging me for days - please explain in words of one syllable or less! !

I think that's all it can be - a spiral staircase 'turns upwards' so it looks right!

I simply took it as .... something spiral usually winds upwards, hence "turned up" and often relates to a "flight" of stairs.

Thanks for that rapid answer - somehow one always expects the Saga clues to be really convoluted so I didn't think it could be that straightforward.
