13 d and 20 a... 13 down can be spelt with a penultimate "e" or "a", and 20a also can have the last vowel "e" or "a".
So which ??.. Google hits say "a" , but I could be wrong.

Got me puzzled too, but references to berthe seem to indicate it being made of the same material as the garment - so I plumped for 'a'
