desserts and cakes

please help me.......I am getting to the despiration stage. here is the problem. I am currently engaged in solving a quiz, now all the answers to the questions are either cakes, desserts or something similar, Ive got 47 out of the 50 can anyone out there help me with the 3 I need.......here we go Q. 42. FLATTERY ALWAYS WELCOME ON YOUR 21ST. Q40. STRANGE ALI SPIRIT-A SUITABLE SPOT. (this sounds like an anagram to me, could be wrong of course) Q21. Oblong cake;two colours of sponge covered with marzipan. Please help this is really really really really really important, answers have to be in by thurs 16th and if I don`t get the answers to those posed I a m going to kill myself......I will , honest so my life is in your hands. hope to hear from u soon Cheers Bob

42 presumably has something to do with a Key (for your 21st). The only dessert I know with Key in it is KEY LIME PIE, but I've got no idea where the lime comes in. Use it if no one comes up with a better answer! Tried doing the anagram for 40, but not come up with anything yet.

Just thought for 40, RUM BABA. Strange is Rum, as a spirit, and the most famous Ali I know is Ali Baba. Don't know where the 'Suitable Spot' comes in.
