Is the letter count correct for No. 41?

A pair of horses harnessed and driven together is a 'span' and, obviously, leave=go. There's a Spango in Renfrewshire which, were it not for the letter count, would seem to match the clue.
Not sure if some of the people answering knew they were actually give that website on the quiz
Loads asked and been given answers not clues but then they are not asking for clues even though it does say so
