I desperately need help to solve my last two questions. I've been stuck on them for ages!

12. Left, right and centre when diced
69 I've found it - the first of its kind in South Africa

All answers relate to gems (including organic materials used as gems),
items of jewellery or famous jewels. No number of letters are given.
I've seen on here a suggestion of CORAL for no 12 but I'm not sure. Any help would be much appreciated.

I firmly believe that setters as you say should add any requests regarding their asking policy on the sheet of each and every quiz. This would stop people being made to feel like villains.

Forget the you

I'll never forget "you" Emeritus for your help! Seriously though I thought Eureka for the first part of the clue but couldn't work out the second part at all.
all I can see is an anagram of.... all over.
llavero which is Spanish for keyring

Thank you both. I really appreciate your thoughts.
Hi strydog was having second thoughts on tis and it is probably Eureka Diamond. The first found un South Afrca apologies for earlier answer

Thanks Emeritus. I'm going to go with that.
Some of us have worked hard to find answers to this quiz and its most annoying to see answers given away so easily.
Chorley9, Can't really see your point, after all this is the AnswerBank.
The point is why can't people send a quiz in with a blank space. This is not an easy quiz and the prize money is not life changing. The setter has commented on here about asking and how it spoils it for others. Why not ask for clues instead of answers?
Some posters do ask for clues rather than answers. If the setter has setter has requested that this site should not be use, then that should be respected.

I'm so sorry to upset anyone but I did ask for "help" and then only in sheer desperation as I have been working hard to find the final two. It's not as if I regularly seek help, I rarely do. But don't worry I've probably got some of the rest wrong anyway. I certainly can't solve no 12!
straydog, was there in fact a request from the setter not to ask for solutions?
The setters comment from before was
The value of our prizes is hardly 'life changing' so please accept our quizzes as a challenge and try to achieve on your own merits. We are sorry if this offends some people but, we believe that the majority of quizzers will agree with us. Meanwhile, please do continue to support the work that we do in helping disadvantaged children
Thank you chorley9.
Thanks could also be given to straydog for supporting the charity quiz
chorley 9 why click on the thread if you don't want to see the answers x

I wasn't aware of the setters request chorley9 and even now I can't see where they said it. Definitely not on the email I received from them, the question sheet, cover or reverse, nor on their website where they link it to the justgiving page and not on the advert for the quiz in the round up either.

The only thing I have found now is a post by smouse in June as follows:
"By all means ask for hints and, by all means give hints. However just posting a list of answers spoils it for others and defeats the object of a fun quiz.
16:23 Fri 24th Jun 2016 Setters comment not mine"

I'm afraid, like mallyh, I cannot understand why people come on here and complain. Likewise if setters want to advertise their quizzes here and don't want quizzers to use it as an "Answerbank" then they should state that very clearly in their advert so people can make informed choices at the outset.

And chorley9, you wouldn't then need to troll this site!
The comment was posted on here last year, straydog
