This is a small quiz, and the question is:

If you paid rent for land in the form of 'campipars', what would you give instead of money?

I have been unable to find any answer except that it might be Campartum which means piece of land, but this doesn't really answer the question.
Any help appreciated.

Share of the crop? campartum: part of a larger field, which would otherwise be in common; or the right of the lord to take a certain share of the crop

Thank you Captain. It could well be that. good thinking.
CAMPIPARS , in the fruit of the farm, as the settler, partiarius pays the lord, your portion and the portion of: Agraria, the revenue of the field it hath

^ that's a google translation from Latin. As Captain says you'd be paying with a share of the crop (I think).
