How many letters in the answer?
Are we looking for the name of a train?
The only famous train service ending at Rawalpindi that I know of is the Tezgam Express (or just 'Tezgam') but I can't really see how that fits with the clue.

If you've got some of the other answers to the quiz (particularly within the same section) it can help to post a question and its answer, so that we can 'get on the same wavelength' as the question-setter. Otherwise we're left fumbling to see what it is that you might be seeking.
there seem to be several but none make much sense

the letters for this answer are (1-2)
The previous question and answer are "One not to be missed"(4,5,2,3,8)-
Answer-Last train to san fernando.
I'm also looking for "Huffs and Puffs for lost cause"(3,8)
Another example-
Sensitive fuel supplier (6), Ans-Tender
These are all in the trains section.Does that help at all?
Does the clue definitely say RAWALPIND? Maybe the missing I at the end is significant.

Sorry, it should be Rawalpindi
It's 1-2 (I assume that's slightly different from 1,2)
Question Author
It is definitely shown as a hyphen, 1-2
