80

I make it 80
80 x 5 = 400
0.8 is what I make it.
Sorry... 2mls
0.8 cl, 80ml.

I should imagine measuring 0.8 ml would be very difficult.
you are all wrong - the answer has to be less than 1ml, as 400 mcg is much less than 5mg.
My brain won't work for the actual calculation atm
Ah, just noticed! Dosage is in micrograms but strength is in milligrams.
I think Sqad's first answer is correct.
no, it's 0.08 mls
I can do sums but I'm no doctor, but I'll have a go.

5mg is 5000 mcg
Strength is 5000mcg /ml
So for 50mcg need 0.01 ml
so for 400mcg need 0.08ml
FF....;-) and you would be correct.
As a former maths teacher, I'm somewhat alarmed to see how many people can't do basic GCSE mathematics! I would have expected any of my Year 10 pupils (and a good number of the more able Year 8 pupils) to see that all that's required is to divide 400 by 5000 and to get the answer straight away in their heads.

I was going to say 'Well done, Factor-Fiction' until I remembered what he does for a living ;-)
Thanks Buenchico. I'm glad I didn't mess it up- it was perhaps not a good idea to attempt to answer a question like this after 4 hours in the pub, but I got away with it this time!
I'm just hoping the patient made it!!
I would guess that the unnamed drug was cyanocobolamine.

??
oi, i answered it right first!
Sorry, Bednobs!
;-)
