It would be wrong for the police to be prejudicial about these things. There could a perfectly innocent explanation as why to he's wearing a black balaclava and carrying a gun at the scene of an armed robbery.

I'd say the Daily Maul has got even sillier. The rules in English Law governing the right to a fair trial and prejudicial statements pre-date human rights legislation by a few centuries.

They should have an identity parade with everyone wearing a balaclava. He seems to have very big hands. Perhaps a "hand parade" would do.
