Where is this village (all in Cumbria)?

I am one short in this quiz and I am hoping someone might be able to help because it is a picture quiz. It is a picture of a window with twelve panes of glass and you can see a view through the window. To the right of the window is a separate picture which is definitely a bat or truncheon with a thong round it. Sorry, that's the best I can do.

!'ll ignore that Calibax!!!! I've never seen a truncheon in skimpy underwear (or maybe I have when I think about it)!!!!! I've got Ravenglass for a picture of a black bird with a tumbler Trussell but thanks. I thought of Windermere too Muchlovex - only one that fitted (sorry missed out, it WAS 10 letters) but WHY the truncheon/baton ? Love, Kustard
