What's the full clue?

Hi The comp is called Where was I in the Sunday times. There are no clues as such but a text that asks questions.
please give us the full text, then!
Anglesea Arms seems a popular name for pubs, bibulous structures.
Hi jwbr

There is an informal convention on AB not to simply give the answers to Where Was I?
It's not like a crossword with lots of clues, to which you might need some help with a few.
I hope you don't mind me mentioning this.

Having said that, if you think you have found a nearby structure, see if you can find any "bibulous" reference to it in literature.

All the best

ta writesbad. I'm not expecting the answers . I think I have the politician. But am stumped about first question. Funny thing is ,I know the area well. Ta for your comments and good luck. I will 2play2 with 2bibulous.
Good luck, jwbr. The setter mentions "wasting Chablis perhaps", and there is a clear literary association. Let me know how you get on!

Thanks all but am still flummixed - what is wrong with me this week? Is the chablis connection from Alice? Tried googling but...good luck to you all
Thank you for the welcome WB. Not sure what the etiquette here is, but don't think just the answer should be given. I have been doing the WWI quiz for about ten years and the fun is in "the chase".
Stick with Alice, JWBR, and your earlier thought - you're almost there.
Thanks, ManxHatter. I think you have got it exactly right.

jwbr - there is an old saying: stop whining and start wining. This will bring you to where you want to be. ManxHatter has put you on the right track.

Let us know!
