Once again, all 4 links wee matched within the first two minutes.
First was tearinghair with PERFECT PITCH. Rockfordill and Aquagility were also in tune and on time so 2 points each.
Beejay1124 followed right behind with BREAK EVEN as did ulysses 100 for their 2 points
Ulysses100 was also first to pick up the ODD COUPLE of points making 4 in total.
Player #8, Lysander, then chose the PRIME MERIDIAN for her 2 points.
With all the bonuses gone, it was just single points on offer from then on, but lots of them - 34 points scored in total.
Apart from Ulysses100, there were 6 other double-hitters, namely Elspeth, patchett, joto, Baza, Shazza & twix123.

If you remember, BigMac and Lysander were even stevens at the top, but BigMac achieved his prediction of crashing out with zero whilst Lysander's 2 points thrust her into the top position.
Therefore it is time to bang that Big Bass Drum and announce

Many thanks for the drum roll.As I have said before when I have been offered to set the links once more I think Crofter's original rule that the task is offered to someone who has never had the honour. If Big Mac has not done so I feel he should have the chance as it was only luck I was able to overtake him. Regards LYSANDER

Lysander, FOUR YEARS AGO is so far back it is almost never. It is time you has a second go.

I sent an e.mail to you at7.11am on Momday morning.I have been having trouble with network connections so this may be the reason.It is just as well I declined your offer as the problem keeps occuring.I hope this reaches you as I would not want you to think I had ignored your request to get in touch

Past experience tells me that both get through (and I tested it again today my sending two emails from another account) but that may depend on which service you are sending it from.
I stand by every Saturday morning from 8:30 so intermittent internet connection is no problem - I just post it for you if you can't manage it.
