Hello word genii!

I was really chuffed for finishing this today with no help but I am struggling to prove the final answer

22a hypocrite's movement? I have C_A_E_ and guessed the word canter for movement but cant link it to hypocrite

Am I right and if so why? (but please don't tell me the answer if I'm wrong!)
