Yes, only just realised! I've looked again, and the answers do seem to be correct, but you never know with this quiz!!!

No, it's one of the weirdest quizzes around, and his marking strategy is pretty odd, too. The only thing you can be absolutely sure of is that the winners will all come from within a 20 mile radius of Louth, Lincolnshire.

BJ
Your not right about the winners always from a 20 mile radius of louth, i`ve won it once and live 35 miles from louth. Q.88 although parsley is the main herb the chine can be stuffed with practically an herb. If it is`nt parsley and someone gets the right answer they must have inside information or very very lucky.
I've just checked up, and I live 56.1 miles from Louth! I did win £20 on this once, for the asterisked questions. Still, it's for such a good cause, and it does keep the brain cells working. I will ask in the local butchers tomorrow if they put anything different in stuffed chine, watch this space!

Don't know if you had any luck with your butcher, hellywelly4, but I've taken the bull by the horns and posted mine off with the two identical answers.

As for my comments about the winners always coming from the Louth area, perhaps that was a bit harsh (I do seem to remember one coming from Newark once), but it does seem as though he's rather biased towards local entries. Having said that, I live only about 15 miles from Louth, and I've never won!! It is indeed a very good cause, and I always enter, even though I have a bit of a grumble about some of the "correct" answers when I get my marked sheet back.

BJ
Hello Jenny, I completely forgot to ask the butcher, but will go into see him tomorrow -note made on my 'to do' list.
Hi Big Jenny yes have same answer for both - posted mine off a couple of weeks ago. As every says its a good cause and for keeping the old mind working. I agree I do have a few grumbles when the answers get back and think mine are more appropriate.
Well, the answer from my butcher was parsley, so if Mr Lyall gets his chine from somewhere that they use something else, I'll just trust to luck. It will be interesting to get the marked sheet back. Has anyone got No. 72 - Zo r (stroke through it) & area or section & lots of spots h (stroke through that as well).
I've no idea at all, except that it probably ends in ras (the h of rash cancelled).

Sorry that's not very clear, but I don't know how to do a letter with a 'stroke' through it.
