the last letter of the answer if the first letter of the next - my last letter was 'k' and the question is 'half a composer??!!

What I was after was the clue/solution which gave you the final k, and just in case the one before.

v. i. s.a.y.t.s.r.n. and there are (8) letters in the answer-

bigjack- clue 8. was a violent lawless person(7 letters) which I put ruffian then9. a yellow striped toad (10 letters) which i put natterjack so on the assumption they are right clue 10, half a composer (8 ) letters begins with 'K'..But with the other letters I have I do not make ;korsokov' as boxtop suggests
