MM Links January 2012 Week 4

Here is the final jest from 'The Court Jester'.

This lovely frivolous game has now been running for 5 years, or some 60-odd months, so almost all of the regular players must have had a chance to set the links by now! Hands up those of you who are still waiting patiently! Or is it, as I suspect, that I am the last player to have that pleasure?

So …. most of you will be aware of all the action that goes on behind the scenes to ensure a precision launch on Saturday mornings. I’m a two-finger typist and my computer skills are similarly basic. Nonetheless Gen2 has worked with me so tirelessly and unstintingly that you never would have guessed it! And I just know that Crofter was equally encouraging, generous and helpful. I’m sure you’ll all agree that we’re enormously grateful to Crofter for initiating The Links and running it for its first 4-and-a-bit years, and equally grateful to Gen2 who is the present éminence grise. They have both worked tirelessly to guarantee the game’s longevity and success, giving guidance and practical help where needed and allowing considerable latitude with word choice.
