Thank you FoxLee2 x

Thanks Goofy, I'll check it out.

Thank you,chelle7272.It seems quite a challenging quiz but we have plenty of time to figure out the answers.

I assume you all realise that answers to well over 90% of the questions were given away last time (mainly on the crossword forum but also many here). As tends to be the case for all Rainbow quizzes now. As a result there were 201 all correct answers submitted (ie it's not a quiz but instead a lottery). And no doubt this one will be exactly the same.

|
too true pulse, but you don't have to look. And do you really enter for the prize? I enjoy the challenge, and ok i cheat and look here for answers, but then when i submit my puzzle, i tell them to keep the prize.
|
|
I don't enter it because it's too difficult for me. I looked at the last one and could do about 15 of them myself but then, just to see if I could, worked out the other 85 from answers/clues posted here and on the crossword site. I didn't submit an entry because it would have been wrong to do so. But I would guess that a large proportion of the 201 all correct answer sheets were as a result of looking at clues/answers given away on line.
There are lots of people who don't care how many answers they get from sites like this and if anyone asks the question 'why not submit your answers with blanks' they never answer. I can only assume they ask for so many because they want to win the prize and know that's the only way they stand a chance of doing so. |

Hi folks,
It seems a little easier than previous Rainbow quizzes - - regular cryptic crossworders shouldn't need to tourt for answers. However the quiz over the years has raised about a third of a million pounds for charity. So please do join in - and play fair! |
|
or join and cheat! at least send in a donation. But is it really any different to use this site for answers to the rainbow quiz than any other puzzle?
Presumably we all joined AB to get help on all sorts of puzzles? |
|
Hello again Goofy.....another great quiz. Like you, I look on here, not for answers but for hints...and as we have said over and over again in the past, if people don't like the idea of it then don't look on here. We use the site for clues to other quizzes and I don't consider myself a cheat at all. Plus, I always send a very generous donation with my entry. It is a bit early to be looking for help - I have done 52 so far and can never understand why I find some of them so easy to solve and others more tricky. As I have also said before, these quizzes are addictive. Nice to see you're still doing them and hopefully we'll see more of our Rainbow friends as the weeks go by.

Agree with you both goofy and martysgirl, love to the quizzes and it really gets on my nerves when people come and complain, as you say you don't have to look. i suggested once (which was taken well) that actually these posts widen the amount of people going in for the quiz, I had not entered any before seeing the interesting q's posted here, and so surely the charity benefits?
Good luck all anyway :-) |

Thanks chelle, even though I'm a Magpie supporter!
