Can somebody please put me out of my misery? I have possible answers to the following, but I am not quite convinced with any of the parses.

9A)Facing plot after work, work over. OPPOSING (OP+POSING . Except I wanted 7D to be CUTTER.
5D) To support energy, Squeeze very strong coffee. ESPRESSO surely? PRESS for Squeeze but where is the very strong?
4D) Rule Clubs ignored after a while. AEON surely, but I don't see the clue at all
