Im really stressed out!

I have a new job that started last Tuesday, I have been there a week here but I think I want to leave already. This is the scenario:

Just 2 weeks ago I have a 3 job interviews including the the job I have now. The other 2 roles were the most preferred ones and this role I have now (working for a national charity) is my least favourite. Now initially I applied for an admin role that I saw advertised at the charity, so I was called for the interview. I did well but next day they rejected me. However HR came back to me and presented me with another role they felt I was good for. The role is of an “Officer” and is of a higher grade then the one I applied for and got rejected. They gave me the job spec and offered me an informal interview. Having read the description, I felt it wasn’t good for me so I emailed HR saying I am no longer interested. I then had a call from the hiring manager who also interviewed me for the previous admin role, convincing me to attend the interview just to see explain the role further. She hinted that I was good fit for the role. So since I have been out of work for 2 months I decided to go. When I got there she explained the role is a lot less cluttered as explained in the job spec and insisted I was good for the role. After a while, of discussion she offered me the role, again I was unsure but I couldn’t refuse, she talked me into it. Maybe this was my mistake.

Now I have been there for a week, naturally I don’t understand anything which makes sense. My manager is vague when she explains things so I am back and forth with her and also I am not part of a team so its only her I have to liaise with her if im struggling. They have already put me forward for meetings which are held in various cities and also in house training sessions. Now, all this got me thinking that im not really into any of this ? I actually wanted the lower grade job within the department and not this one ? I have I made a mistake? So is it good idea to explain myself on Monday that I am no longer interested or shall I stay and get into another job ASAP ? I just don’t want to waste anyone time by them sending me places to train and attend sessions when im planning to move to another job when it comes available. What shall I do ?!!! Its been stressing me out all weekend. I know if a decision is to make the sooner I leave the better. I am on probationary period.

Please please someone advise !

It sounds like a good job, and they seem to have confidence in you being up to it. is it worth giving it a go and seeing if your own confidence grows over the next few weeks? Whats the worse that can happen if you stay?
