given the disputed nature of sovereignty of the gulf of sidra, it's hard to understand what the Italian coastguard is doing being as close as 30 miles from the Libyan coast.
well the Aussies do have some idea how to deal with this. the EU hasn't got a scooby how to stop the boats and once they are in the Schengen area, game over, so it can't hurt can it.

I find it both ironic and unnecessary that the militant intolerant types on this forum are usually the first to strike out against anyone whose ideals they oppose using inflammatory labels like "brigade".
I'm sure it's deliberate and done to start an argument.
