Question Author
That sounds good to me. Presumably now is the small present.
Thanks
Small - S
Present - Now
Ship - SS
Headland - Cape

Thanks Mamyalynne
7d routinised looks OK, but I'm not 100% certain.
took interest from = made into a routine matter = routinised
top valued housing? not sure about this definition.
away from = out
and toward = in
the centre = out + in (in centre of routinised)
Valued - Prized

'Top' it - Rized?
So - Routinized ?

Hairs breadth looks good.
