Resurgence anag Greece runs

6d- Maybe they will accept IMPOSTER but although it's a common spelling I believe IMPOSTOR is more favoured by dictionaries
.. I can see Cu as copper..
I've never seen Imposter spelled with an 'o'
I agree with the copper- maybe the Cu at the start is also a reference to copper but as with many RTE clues I can't fully parse copper mine
'Down under' = mine?
I remember being taught it was IMPOSTOR (maybe the IMPOSTER came from US). Not conclusive but here is a reference. http://grammarist.com/spelling/imposter-impostor/
Thank you my friends,
Does Chambers mention both, Mamyalynne. RTE may use their own dictionary of course, and maybe they use IMPOSTER as they are a bit closer to America than we are
Never too old to learn, I doubt I'll change how I spell it now, thanks though.
Chambers says 'Imposter' see 'Impostor' - so it bears out what you're saying.
