Monday. The roundabout starts again for the workers.

I watched the ISS go over last night, it was overhead at 1051. It's been a while since the sky has been clear enough. Tiggy took no notice whatsoever, just got stuck into his supper. Then he ambled off to inspect his territory.

It was hot and sunny yesterday. I went down to the canal to see some friends in the Visitor Centre, they live in Oxfordshire, so I don't see them often.

Domesticity today, the dust is getting near JCB proportions.

Have a happy day everyone.

Afternoon oz. Ticking over nicely thanks mate. How's you? :o}

Quite right to beej. To be honest, if I was there I'd be joining in the celebrations too. ;o}

I agree. That's when it should rain right enough mate. Save watering, wouldn't it!
Yeah, idling along nicely Beej.
Happily unemployed at the mo. Wont last though, 10 years until retirement, might have to do something gainful in the not too distance future.

A pistol, a mask, a horse and being able to say 'Stand and deliver!' in an English accent would do it oz. :o}
I like the idea, a home made suit of armour and a long rifle, can't ride a horse though so I'll buy a motorbike.
Should be able to purchase lots of beer tokens with the loot.
Question Author
Good plan mate! :o} You'd be a legend in your own lunchtime. :o}
" Stand and deriver" would work too.
This fella was Oz's one and only and he was active in the area we live in.
Some local families ancestors may have been robbed by him.

Quite a character oz. He let himself down with the rape though.

Just going to get the washing on the line. Back shortly.
Too right Boaty, I'll forgive lots of misdemeanors and mistakes. Rape and violence towards women, children and society in general are not on my list of pardonable activities though.
Good Morning from yet another sunny morning in Provence, unfortunately the long trip home beginning later. I am leaving around 10 to have a coffee with friends and take one of the old Belgian crew back to Nice Airport, she with a flight at 3.30 and me at 4.15. If all goes well, I should be back around 11pm to midnight, having watered and fed en route.

A wonderful time and great memories, the setting in the vineyard out of this world. (the setting - http://www.visitvar.fr/img.ashx?d=&h=533&w=982&r=crop&u=http://www.acvsnet.net/SI-ACVS/images/Prestations/1006/73841/1427184917000.jpg)

A very moving ceremony and what a hell of a party, to bed at 4.30am yesterday and then we started again at midday with a brunch. Ended up going up to the bride's parents' villa on top of the hill in this pic and then, after drinks, seven of us went down to a lovely restaurant just off the beach of Gagalo and a superb fish supper with an awesome soup, very thinly sliced tuna and finishing with a French version of Pavlova...seriously good and a lovely way to sign off.

It was also great to see the two families and friends mingling as one and 3.5 days to get to know each other - and the next generation, even if there was a lot of alcohol, with no outright drunkenness or stupidity.

Here's a pic of the view from my bedroom this morning: http://postimg.org/image/byp7a1b9n/
Good morning all. Wow what a beautiful place DT,
Question Author
I agree oz. There is never any excuse for such evil deeds.

Morning DT. The first photo isn't. Just a icon of a camera with a diagonal line through it. :o{

The other two are fine and show the beauty of the place. I think it would be all but impossible to have a lovely time in such a setting. I'm glad it all went well.

Have a safe journey back mate.
