That's stretching things a bit, even by Farage's bigoted standards.

I don't think the likes of you should be banding about the word Bigot, do you?
Yes pots and Kettle DTC

They play into his hands time and time again.

This week our Nige must have laughed his *** off with all the free publicity.
He's absolutely correct.
definition: a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.

Sums up Farage's views on several fronts very well, I would say.
He does indeed have a point.

In 1952 did not Sen McCarthy say he knew of 52 communist infiltrators in the state department and even wave 'a list' ?

Yup he did. And were there ? Nope

Like Farage - it was just words used to grab headlines

Does he have a point? Really....?

It's certainly a point of view, but that's not the same thing.

Well he'll fit right in there at parliamentary question time then won't he? lol!
"Ukip leader tells LBC Radio that Left-wing commentators have condemned song about party more than rape of thousands of girls in northern England"

Why on earth has he conflated these two subjects ? What possible connection can there be between them ? How can he know that his Calypso has been commented on more than child abuse ?

What difference does it make if it has ?

I haven't commented so far of the song, because it didn't seem worth it to give it any publicity at all. If it has now backfired on him and his party, and it would appear that it has, why is he moving the goalposts ? Farage is his own worst enemy, time after time.
Well said PP !

Is that 1 across, 2 across or just cross?

/// Sums up Farage's views on several fronts very well, I would say. ///

And your's it would seem.
Farage's problem is that he consistenty articulates what the man on top of the Clapham omnibus (to paraphrase Clement Attlee) is thinking. Good thing or bad thing?
Yours too, aog if you want to get personal, which is par for the course. The difference is that we are not politicians.
Mikey's expressed my view very well.

To even bring child grooming in to the discussion is a very cheap and nasty trick.

In that case, perhaps AB needs renaming BigotBank?

Can't you see the simple fact that he was just making a legitimate comparison of certain persons priorities when it comes to news stories, no body would have remarked on this calypso if it had not been attached to UKIP.

Another example would be that it is more newsworthy too comment on the expected Royal arrival than what is going off in the Ukraine.

AOG....read hc4361's post...it is just a cheap trick to keep his name and face in the papers.
Farage does not really need to campaign for votes, as in effect Labour and the Libdems are doing that on his behalf. Once derided as a clown, he is now a serious performer on the British political scene, and the established parties ignore that at their peril.
I never thought that I would see the words "serious performer" and "Farage" in the same sentence !
"Sums up Farage's views on several fronts very well, I would say. "

And, of course, those of his opponents (or does bigotry not apply if you are "on message"?).
