Superglue

Rant here - big time - new kitchen is just 8 months old.

Visitor's sole of her boot came off on Saturday night.

I have just found on my lovely countertops 2 lots of glue where she glued her boot over it.

She proceeded to stand the leg of my table on it and I did say you need to protect my wooden floors - oh yes I have put newspapers down.

Am absolutely raging. Next door neighbour hopefully will get it off.

Stupid funker. Visitor that is.

I did tell her to get a pair of cheap shoes to get her home. No way she said I am just after spending £70 on a pair of boots back home. This lady is very wealthy.

End of rant.

Nail polish remover should get rid of the glue off your work surface.

JJ, the acetone in the nail polish remover should do the trick ok.

as to her boots if she's that wealthy, she should have bought a decent pair!

LOL Janbee - she rang last night and left a message saying she had a wonderful time and I was a wonderful hostess. No way I was.

This is just to keep in with me to get home the next time. Hyper woman - she had verbal diarrhoea the whole week when not on the phone, iphone, ipad.

She needed a valley of the dolls (valium 25mgs).

I have been in a state of exhaustion since she left LOL. Jjcon

She got her husband in England to bring a punnet of strawberries back to Sainsburys cos they were rotten. Pound wise penny foolish. Stupid woman.

I am going to have a drinkiepoo. The countertop was very expensive as I had said to myself go expensive as it was my last kitchen before I croak it.

I have just returned from a very new hospital in Bristol ,there are so many marks on the New floors that has been caused by Glue .It looks disgusting and the cleaners are up in arms about it as some of the floors look really dirty.
Wealthy people usually are tight that is how they become wealthy.

Ah ah ah ah ah FrogNog - I didn't invite her - she invited herself.

I said to her that I wouldn't be going over to her - oh in that case I'll come over to you - so I was cornered.

Last time I was over was over 30 years ago and it will be another 30.

Bazile - I live in Ireland - so she crossed the Irish sea - overseas to me. LOL

Try brake cleaner, it takes most things off.

Send her a pair of wellington boots - tell her to bring it with her the next time she visits - cos she will need it to keep her feet dry , when you toss her into the irish sea , sending her on her way back home if she damages your property again

Thanks all. 2sp - neighbour thinks he has something in the back of his van to remove it. Will leave it up to him.

In a way am glad it was the glue rather than burn marks which I would have had no hope in removing.
