It's been a long time since I let you all know about my eye treatments coz everything has been hunky dory. When at the hospital for DAFNE 3 weeks ago I began experiencing headaches which I put down to stressing about trying to learn a new thing and big changes in my insulin doses, nope, the I got my monthly visit and I thought low iron took iron tablets nope so then I thought hmmm...eyes. Went to the optician this morning...it's not looking good. I have a haemorrhage in one eye and the possibility of vessels forming in the other but she can't see properly coz something was stopping her seeing the bit she needed to. She is getting onto the eye hospital as she wants me to be seen immediately. It wasn't quite what I wanted to hear to be truthful but will see what happens.

If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all.

Thank you Woofgang :)

I will keep you posted Slinky. I means know what to expect with the new vessels as had laser treatment, but the haemorrhage I don't know how they will deal with that. It's not very big but it's probably what worries me most
I'm sorry to hear that ypu are having more problems, queenie. My best wishes to you for a good outcome. x

I forgot to say thank you OG.

It is jno but it's a good job I have a fair bit of patience, but it will get through it.
Is a haemorrhage that bad ? I ask because when I had laser treatment the eye was clearly full of blood straight afterwards. All was dark red until it finally cleared. I'd have thought if they found one they could use a laser to seal it and then let nature take it's course. Not that I know what I'm on about.
Will be thinking of you, queenie. Hope you're soon on the mend.
Question Author
I think it's where it is that could be the issue. I never had any blood when I had laser before. I will let you know when I know more though
Fingers crossed, queenie.....
