I received an email from the UN only this morning. Apparently the Secretary General is angry about the amount of people who are victims of internet scams. As someone on the list of victims, I'm entitled to $500,000 in compensation. How generous!

I've sent them my bank details immediately, of course. Internet scamming is no fun and I've fallen victim to it too often before. Nice to have this gift as reparation for my losses, eh?

You do move in exalted circles, Jim.

You have more than one pen, Dave?....x
$500,000 will go a long way towards convincing a nigerian princess to accept a marriage proposal
Dave,Is that because there's no lead in your pencil?
Ael...don't encourage him! He's pulled this week and one is enough for any man!!!!

Jim...glad you're satisfied.....now stop grinning!!! You'll look simple!..☺
I have a propelling pencil, danny - a new lead is available whenever needed :)
Have you been told if the amount is American Dollars or Mexican Pesos, because $ is the sign for both items of currency. If it's Pesos then you are certainly being under-changed, which certainly suggests a Scam.

Regrettably, some folk will receive such an E/mail and fall for it.

Hans.
