Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Telegraph Summer Crossword

Please can anyone tell me how to scan the Telegraph summer crossword in - it is bigger than A4 and I can't get the scanner to put both sides in at all. Not done it yet - but ? This has happened before and I never cracked it.

Thanks for any help./ I have a Canon MG6450 scanner

Can you use image editing software?

The way I do this with the Times Jumbo crosswords page is to scan it in 2 parts, then open them both in Paint.net http://www.getpaint.net/ (other editing software can be used similarly). Then select one of the images, resize its canvas to make it large enough to include the other, then go to that other image and select and copy all of it, followed by pasting it into a new layer of the first image. That layer can then be moved to align the 2 images to form the complete page, and finally flatten the layers to make a single layer image.

p.s. an optional final step is to select the area of the composite image that includes what you want but excludes items on the page that you don't want, e.g. large white borders, and crop the image to the selected area.
