Hi woodijon - your initial 'L' in 21a was wrong - "Club Tropicana's fourth, say" - Putter (club) - '(troPicana['s 4th]) + 'utter' (say) The word 'daubing' in 21d is an anag indicator, as in "to smear" (the letters)

I agree that Lorrain is a painter, but why "apply to see daubing"?
