5 down - Grann typcaly seen along shoreline (4) I have ?N?Tand suspect knot, but why? Not why do I suspect this, why is it the answer, if it is?

17 across - Think highly of dancer I'm dancing aorund with (6) ?D?I?E and I am leaning towards admire, with the "I'm" in the middle of ADRE, but how?

I can see anagram of 'one' and 'sh' for mum but can't get the rest.
Re 4d - would the answer to 1a/1d be 'Noodle'? If so -

Lens hood - anag (battered '1') 'noodle', with 'sh' ([keep] mum, installed) (?)

1 across is vacuum cleaners while 1 down is evaporated milk. I'm lost with lens hood as the only bit I get is the "SH" for mum.
