Thanks for the link mintyman.
Good morning Mintyman....and thanks!
many thanks
Thanks mm, my Thursday (and probably Friday) are saved!
Thanks Mintyman. Now to enjoy some of that long awaited sun!!
Thanks once again, mm: very slightly more difficult today, I thought, but some very good clues!
I agree with maurice on the clueing, & I thought the grid symmetry of the unclued entries was very clever.

Should we be highlighting the connections?
32 A. Child of the Cotswolds, perhaps. new in Broadwat area? (7)
?an???g
17 D. Irish parliamentarian eating most of hirse like a wild beast (7)
t?e?o??
32a Ea n ling...Ealing Broadway

17d T heroi(n) d
'Hirse' in last line of my post should have been 'horse'.
I should also have said, thanks for any help.
Thanks, kaya - a great help.
you're welcome.
A belated thanks for the link.
Thank you mintyman - this was a clever idea, just a shame that all 4 connections couldn't have been the same - the phrase containing the odd one out does seem a little incongruous given the occasion ! And although it was obvious what 13a should be, it certainly isn't aspirin !!
