8 1/3 feet = 100 inches = C inch - C being the Roman numeral
and if something's a cinch then it can be said to be a piece of cake
and (for completeness) because it says 'foot' in the clue rather than 'feet' that is why it is 'inch' in the answer and not 'inches'
