My last one -and I don't know which answer to settle on...
14 A. Wells maybe the sea breaks into, yielding fine gravel (7)
hog?in?
'Hoggin' and 'hogging' both mean silted gravel - I was going to put 'hogging' then realised the answer could be 'hoggins'.
I took 'hg'/HG Wells out of both words but it didn't help to give me the definitive answer. Anyone got any thoughts, opinions?

HG = Wells and oggin is a slang word for ocean (inside the HG) = sea, so hogging.
