Why, on this website, if you put something in inverted commas, it comes out like this?

"example"
Except that I bet it doesn't work this time

Typical, it didn't do it that time - it usually says something like "quot" both sides of the word instead of the commas

it happens occasionally... just use single quotes and it'll be all right, and you don't have to use the shift key, thus saving keystrokes all over the place
