spork or spingers, that is the question ?
Most westerners make a big mistake with chopsticks (and rice) and that is not to lift the bowl to the mouth....the Chinese scoop the rice into their mouths, not lift it......and why it comes in those wee bowls.

While I am on, those of you who are left handed and in Chinese company should remember to apologise if you can not use your sticks right handed. Just as in the Middle East, in the Far East the right hand is for eating and the left, well how do I say it, the bum...... Apologising and asking for repentance shows that you know a little about their culture and your hosts will be impressed......

Took me ages to master chopsticks, then I had a stroke and it was back to the fork.
I can never see the point of chop sticks in a modern world, I insist on a knife and fork, the days of eating with sticks is long past!
