yogurt or yoghurt

How do you spell this word? Some say it is yogurt, others say yogHurt.
Is there a correct way of spelling it or are both versions correct?

Nice one Naz, I'll stick to "yogurt".
I don't write it often, but I think I use the 'h' ...

Does the flavour of it affect the spelling? ;-)
Yes. Strawberry yoghurt is spelled differently to Vanilla yoghurt. :-P
The earliest use of the word in English (17th century) spelt it as yoghurD, but the Oxford English Dictionary claims the word in Turkey - from whence the stuff came, apparently - is spelt yoghurT. It also lists a whole variety of alternative spellings, but the majority of those DO contain the 'h', so I'd always go with yoghurt.
