I'm curious to see if anyone else has heard of this rhyme?  My mum and her sisters all know it, but I've never met anyone else that does.  Cheers

I see, said the Blind Man

a hole in the wall

You're a liar, said the Dummy

you can't see at all

I've never heard that rhyme, no, but I've heard the expression "I see said the blind carpenter," as he picked up his hammer and saw.

Round these parts it's:

I see said the blind man to his deaf wife.

I remember as a kid my brother used to say, "'I see,' said the blind man to the deaf guy over the phone."

My dad used to say

"I see, said the blind man, as he waved his wooden leg and adjusted his hearing aid".

He usually said it when he didn't understand what my mum was going on about.

"I see" said the blind man as he walked into a lampost.

I have heard this one:

I see said the Blind man to his Dumb and Deaf Wife at the Corner of the Round table in front of his Mute friend.

I know it can go on a bit more as somehwere it includes his son with the wooden leg running up the stairs.

Yes, my dad used to say, "I see said the bing man, you're a liar said the fool".

No idea where it comes from, it what it even means!?.
