I was at the Next sale today and after about two hours, had bought everything I wanted. As I was lining up I saw a load of ladies waiting in the chnging room queue with bras and knickers in their hand.Is it just me or should that not be allowed? It's kind of gross, even though I wash my bras and knickers after I buy them I would rather they had not been on countless other people!
Also what is it with size 36FF Bras's being padded!!!!!!!

in lingerie shops its standard practice to try on bras for fitting.
As for knickers, if anyone does try them on then it will be over the top of their underwear Im sure.
Its not different to a tshirt or trousers that are also tried on by people before you buy them.
when I have had knickers and bras in my hand while in queue it has just been because I am going to buy them after. sometimes when I get to lady she will ask that I leave them with her till I come out.

Yes but these were ladies that ONLY had underwear in their hands. In Debenhams you are not allowed ot try on underwear and rightly so.

i get my knickers from a tent shop so it dont matter to me lol
well I go with what red says then. why cant you try them on, people that dont wear bras try tops on. Knickers are different which is why they have those sticky labels inside the crotch in swimsuits and you arent allowed a refund on knickers. My mate tried a bikini on in middle of tesco other week coz they wouldnt let us in changing room
was that you in the queue in front of me with them knickers on your head

In debenhams they have trained bra fitters, of course youre allowed to try them on!

hehe 4getmenot. I don't buy much designer clothes, there's not much difference between high street and designer anyway. Also I get a weekly clothes allowance and if I got tp the high street my money goes further. That said I once bought a really exy bra and knickers from Selfridges and it was lovely.

Oh god those ladies are the worst. One came up tp me in Debenhams once with a tape measure round her neck and asked me if I wanted to be fitted. My face went bright red and I almost died.I would NEVER have a lady measure me!
yer sorry :-)
Is that Millets sleepy ? lol
I don't try on either , I just buy what I guess is still my size and hope for the best ! :-)
i suppose youd prefer a bloke would you.

so how come you say youre not allowed to try them on in Debenhams? keep up with your arguments will ya!

I'm a 34C. I've got a new bra on now and the straps feel quite tight but that's normal for a new bra
who asked your size??
Question Author
I mean the people that come and measure you. It's nothing to do with trying bras on! You wear a t-shirt and then they stick a tape measure around you and tell you your size but I could never do that. I would just die of ambarrassement!
I thought you being a heroin addicted prostitute who gets beaten regularily wouldnt mind a woman measuring you??

why are you embarresed? are you like that with your clients as well?? I can see why you dont get work
I'm not going to comment on lingerie, but I thought you'd left ?!!

I got myself into serious trouble posting fond farewells to you the other night, I brought clouds of disapproval on my impeccable AB reputation. I know leaving is a complex business and can take weeks or even months to do properly, but what are you up to.

And what's wrong with Marks and Spencer ?
