Errr - What does it mean Prime in Amazon - thanks. I am to pick up an item within the next cuppla days and they have offered me £10 in books or £20 in other items - what does this mean?

Amazon prime is a service for annual subscription of £79 ..it gives you free delivery on goods purchased and access to their tv shows and films..there is a month offered on trial usually...

Thanks Murray - hope I haven't agreed to that subscription etc. You don't know what you are signing up for = by heck.
J,J, If it sounds very good, there's a catch.
all you have to do is read
if you have taken up the free month's trial be sure to cancel when it is coming up to expiring if you don't want to continue !
I don't know about Prime specifically but in many things you sign up for you can go straight to "My Account" or something like that and untick anything that says "Automatic Renewal". I always do this the minute I've signed up for anything, in case I forget it later.

no haven't signed up for anything.
The £10 for books and £20 other items refers to how much you have to spend to get free delivery, for those who haven't signed up to Prime.
