I was asked if I could attend an early morning meeting on 30/4/2015 with Social Services about my mother in the care home.

Yes....I said....and have just set my alarm to get me up in time.......

I'm a day late, aren't I? The 30th has been and gone!

Oh *** and whoops!

tell them you're American and thought it was the 4th day of the 30th month...
Gness, if you come over here it's still the 30th: ergo, you just might be able to attend that meeting.
Yes gness
One reason for my daily paper, to know the date.
Glad I'm not the only one that can't use a calender.
Turn up anyway and swear blind that they said it was the 1st of May.
Anyhoo are knickers obligatory ?.
paint your feet in bicarb............ great for the memory :)
It's quite simple, 1ozzy, to use a calendar: you just dump the stuff in, and the water drains out.

The lady I was supposed to meet was named....A. Begum......I should have paid more attention to the date instead of being fascinated by her name...

And I'm at the theatre every night this week with dates everywhere.....on the tickets....on the posters.

I'm not paying attention.....or should maybe join my mother..... :-(
Here is my prescription for your memory lapse, gness. Two pints of Guinness to be taken before and after every meal, if there is no improvement then up the dose to three pints.
Just insist on the use of a different calendar, Mayan, Julian, Hebrew, French revolutionary, fiscal. No wonder you got slightly confused.
I (it's) be proven to work according to Sqad.
Dates? Nasty foreign things.

Slightly, Daisy?.......Going to take Tony's advice and pickle my brain with Guinness.....it'll make no difference to my memory but I'll be a merry scatter brain...... :-)
