after the last three months of one and two day assignments, dozens upon dozens of applications, several interviews and lots of 'no thank you's' _ _ not to mention the majority of companies that simply did not bother to get back in touch - i finally started this job last friday

the agency have placed me in a company for what is believed to be a temp - to - perm position, doing precisely what i had been doing for seventeen years, before i was made redundant last autumn

i thought i'd wait a week to get settled in before i let everyone know, just in case it didn't work out

needless to say i am happy and relieved - time to crack open the sherry
