The worst phrase/saying?

I think it's got to be "I love x more than life itself". I always cringe when I hear this, who actually loves life itself? What a load of old tripe.

Thank you for your insight into this matter, it is most informative. However it is still an abomination, and darn'd annoying, which is what this stuff is all about.

Here comes another: "Having Said That". I don't want to "Fall Out" with you.

It's the way we tell 'em "you know". This hs been such a welcome place to learn what annoys so many of us. And yet as one poster puts it, "we are all capable of using them" without realising it "from time to time".
