Do you still wash and dry your dishes or you are lucky enough to have a dish washer.

I myself wash and dry the dishes. Not sure if I want a dishwasher after hearing some friends moan about them. My aunt had one and we virtually had to wash the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher and they did not come out all that clean anyway!

I wash and dry.

Mr Alba says I've got 2 dish-washers, only thing is they are cream-crackered when they come in from work.

An Uncle used to let his washed dishes dry on the draining rack. Mum mentioned something about germs, he replied there were germs on tea-towels too!
Never had a dishwasher, never yearned for one either.

Wash and leave to drain usually unless I want a very tidy kitchen that day.
I suppose it depends how many of you live in the house. There's 4 of us and I wouldn't be without my dishwasher. If there was only 2, then it might not be so important.
Leaving them to drain and dry off is, actually, more hygienic....
I have a dishwasher at home, and at work where I cook and wash up for between 2 and 9 people each day. On the 9 people days I wouldn't be without it, on the 2 people days I'll wash up and leave to drain.
There's 4 of us in this household, all adults, I leave my dishes on the draining board too.

dishwasher here, with my mater's lack of hygiene, essential......Bosch and it's good.
I have a dishwasher and use it frequently. I don't like dishes standing about in the kitchen. I like nice, empty tops.
Dishwasher. We bought a new one about 7 months ago and it's brilliant. I don't put frying pans in it though.

We don't have a draining board (Belfast sink) so have to use a removal one which doesn't really hold that much.
Dishwasher - I inherited it !
Dishwasher. Despite the fact there is only me and the cat (although I normally cook for the new man a couple of times a week).

My problem is being inherently lazy.
Best thing I ever got, would hate to live without a dishwasher
dishwasher. It washes dishes hotter than my hands could stand with a more powerful detergent. Everything comes out immaculately clean and I have to do very little to achieve this. It also washes a full load using less water than I would.
I wouldn't want to be without my dishwasher.
I couldn't live without my dishwasher although there are only two of us now. Before I had one the kids used to argue about who was washing or drying and then argued about who was stacking or unstacking the dishwasher!
I'm alone so I hand-wash everything as I go. Perfectly clean, left to drain, takes no time. One big bottle of stuff lasts a year. Never used a dishwasher, will never have need of one.

Seems like dishwasher are on the way out.
I don't see how you've come to that conclusion - more people here have answered that they do have dishwashers. I think if you've never had one, you can quite happily live without it but once you've owned one, they become an essential part of the household.
i get dermatitis so we bought a slimline beko dishwasher nice and small and does a great job .x
I've got a dish washer. He's black and white and purrs after licking every last drop of food from my plates ;-)
