No Access To The Tv Programme Listings Epg?

I own a Sony DVD player/recorder, while everything else works, suddenly I can't get access to the TV programme listings EPG, so I am unable to select programmes to be recorded.

Has anyone got any idea what might be wrong?

Are you on freeview at all AOG? I know that theres been problems with that nationwide.

switching off and on at the plug is my first option

I can get the TV listings on my TV, it is just those on my DVD recorder that I am experiencing trouble with, but thanks all the same.
